Pamela is partnering up with our colleague and friend, Johnnie Moore in the UK, to offer a 4-part online series of experiential learning “We Need to Talk” to explore the challenge of difficult conversations. Getting better at conversation seems to really matter now, as we need to talk together about how to stay safe, what to care about, what to be afraid of, what to keep or let go of in a new normal… If you’ve done courses before on ‘communication’ or ‘difficult conversations’, you’re probably pretty familiar with some nifty frameworks, tools and concepts. But you might find that in the real world, with real people, and in the moment, it’s hard to deploy them, or they don’t feel right, or real or useful. In a series of four 75-minute sessions, we focus on exploring and practicing what feels right for you, and far less in the way of nifty “tools, tips or tricks.”
This is part of Johnnie’s series of “Unhurried Field Trips” – an extension of his ‘Unhurried Conversations’. Pricing is AUD600 / £350 for the whole series.
The ‘We Need to Talk’ field trip will be hosted by Pamela Kinnear and Johnnie Moore. Johnnie is a facilitator and visiting tutor at the Saïd Business School at Oxford University and Pamela is Principal, Kinnford Consulting.
